Lindsey Allen is a product of the Bibb County School District and a former student at Tinsley and Springdale Elementary, Miller Middle, and a graduate of Central High School. Mr. Allen received his Bachelor of Science from Georgia College and was a member of the 1995 World Series baseball team. In 2001, he received his M.Ed from Brenau University and his Educational Leadership certification from the University of Georgia in 2007. Mr. Allen has been in education for twenty-one years as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, hearing officer and principal. He has served in Gwinnett County, Barrow County, and Bibb County school districts during his more than two decades as a professional educator. 

Mr. Allen was the principal of Howard Middle School from 2014 – 2017. Under his leadership, Howard Middle achieved the distinction of being a Title 1 Reward School for Highest Progress, selected as a “Breakout School” by GASSP, achieved Operational status for PBIS, three consecutive years as a "Beating the Odds" school by the Governors' Office of Student Achievement, and a four star School Climate rating on College and Career Readiness Performance Index.  

Mr. Allen has served the past two years as a principal supervisor for twelve high school and middle school principals. His role is to support, develop, and evaluate principals utilizing the Center for Educational Leadership’s 4 Dimensions of Instructional Leadership framework.
