BCSD CTAE Partnership Investment Tracker
Hot off the Press:
Bibb County School District's CTAE Partnership Investment Tracker! The tracker will allow us to capture each partner's financial investment to the BCSD CTAE programs through donated time to CTAE. How do we capture this? Our partners will align their hourly rate to the time spent through guest speaking, advisory board meetings, competition preparation, etc. The Partnership Investment Tracker will show how invested our business and industry community are by the monetary value connected to the partnership.

CTAE Helps to Make Instructional Connections
Teaching As A Profession
The Teaching as a Profession students at Hutchings CCA are off to a great start for the 2020-2021 school year! Each student has been participating in daily discussions, simulations and activities focused on educating them all about becoming “The Teacher of Tomorrow”. They are learning what it will take to be a teacher and general knowledge about the teaching profession. The students have been inquisitive and eager to gain all the knowledge they can, to help them decide if teaching is truly the “calling” of their hearts. They eagerly look forward to the daily discussion posts, which require some in-depth thinking, and to the responses that they are required to make to their classmates. These students will be ready and able to educate our future generations. When asked why he chose the TAAP pathway, Brice D., a senior, responded, “I want to go to school for teaching. I want to be an ESOL teacher. I think this pathway will be a good start for me, to give me information.” To that I say, Brice is on the right track!
Graphic Design
Who says virtual learning can't be fun? In a virtual setting, Hutchings CCA Graphic Design students are learning all about Elements and Principles of design, how to sketch recognizable images for use in thumbnail sketches and some shading techniques. It looks a lot like art, but it will translate into digital images real soon! Students cannot wait to see how these pieces of art can create unique masterpieces.
