Mrs. Howard

Danielle M. Howard

Originally from Akron, Ohio (home of Lebron "King" James), Danielle Howard  has spent almost two decades as an educator.  She spent the last 9 years in Macon, as an instructional coach, kindergarten teacher, and now a new administrator.   As an Instructional Coach her primary focus has been helping teachers implement best practices as it relates to literacy instruction and other research-based instructional practices.  She is a hands on person that loves working with children, parents and teachers.

Her educational background includes earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Education with a certification in Elementary and Special Education from Bowling Green State University, and a Masters of Education in Leadership from Mercer University.  Mrs. Howard has also been trained in cognitive coaching and has received her Reading Endorsement.

Before coming to Georgia, Danielle spent most of her career as a teacher of students with emotional and behavior disabilities in Toledo and Columbus, Ohio. For many years, she had the opportunity to deliver standards based education, social skills training and character education to her K-6th grade students. Her passion for seeing growth in her students, led her to become a part of the Intervention based Student Assistance Team and collaborate with teachers to implement a peer tutoring program, where special needs students tutored younger students.

Now, she uses all of her educational training and experience as a teacher, coach, parent and mentor to offer leadership, direction and encouragement to a new staff of teachers, parents and students.

Danielle currently resides in Macon, Georgia with her husband, 2 sons and a little lady!
